Looking for Data?

Do you ever wish you had a dataset for your pupils to work on that wasn't the same old traffic survey stuff? Help is at hand. There is a great web site with data for schools on in various formats from spreadsheets to word documents, lesson ideas and the resources to support them! small to large datasets (good for many subjects not just ICT)

Here is the link stats4schools

Another contains data from the football leagues; attendance, goals etc Football data

Happy Searching!

Keep your pupils safe on the Internet

To help teachers and schools educate children on staying safe on the Internet Becta and the DfES have developed an Internet Safety Scheme for Key Stage 2 pupils.

The Scheme consists of an interactive web site called Cybercafe, hosted by Gridclub, and a teachers' pack of lesson plans, ideas and resources.

The scheme can be used from Year 3 to Year 6 and all lesson plans are differentiated for three levels of ability.
